20 Cogs Review – How to Make Money & How it Works

20 Cogs

20 Cogs is a new addition to my cashback sites post and another fantastic way for you to make a bit of additional cash from the comfort of your own home. Remember that sites like 20 Cogs won’t make you rich, but they can easily make you a couple of hundred pounds a year.

What is 20 Cogs?

20 Cogs is a fun and unique way to make money online by taking part in competitions, playing games, completing online surveys and taking advantage of great offers like signing up for free trials, grabbing casino and bingo bonuses and lots of other simple and easy tasks.

You could be forgiven for thinking 20 Cogs is a cashback site because it sort of is in a way, it’s just structured a little differently. The average user earns over £200 for completing 20 cogs.

How to Make Money with 20 Cogs

To make money on 20 Cogs you need to turn 20 cogs green by completing offers.

Cogs start out light grey – when you complete an offer each cog will turn dark grey, then orange when your payment is pending, and finally green when it has been confirmed.

Here’s how your cogs look as you progress through them:

20 Cogs Progress
When you first join 20 Cogs, you will only see one cog. Another will appear each time you complete an offer. If you come across an offer you have already done or just don’t want to do then you can simply click on ‘alternate offer’ and you will be given a different offer to do.

When your cogs turn orange, like mine in the image above, the payment for those cogs will show up in your pending balance, and move to confirmed when they turn green later on.

Here’s how your balance will look as you progress:

20 Cogs Earnings
My pending balance (above) is from just 8 orange (pending) cogs, so I definitely believe that the average user makes over £200 from 20 cogs. Looks like I might go above that average.

I completed 19 cogs in a matter of hours and still have one to do (20). Cogs will usually move from dark grey to orange (pending) in a matter of hours, but depending on the offer you complete it can sometimes take longer, just like normal cashback. It’s important to be patient.

Once all cogs turn green, a claim button appears. Payout is by PayPal or Bank Transfer.

Refer Your Friends to 20 Cogs

Another way to earn a pretty penny with 20 Cogs is to get your friends on it.

For every friend you get to sign up to 20 Cogs, you will earn 5% of what they earn. Forever. Not only that, but you will also receive £20 when they complete 20 cogs. Pretty sweet, right?

Just sign up here and head to the ‘refer a friend’ page to grab your link and send it on to your friends. You can also share directly on social networks, email and WhatsApp from that page. Encourage your friends to sign up by linking them to this post showing how it works.

Is 20 Cogs Legit or a Scam?

20 Cogs is most definitely not a scam. It is a completely legit website. I use it myself.

To be fair, I tend to think the same thing about websites like this when I first discover or hear about them, simply because of the history with these type of websites. But 20 Cogs is definitely one of the good buys, proven by a rating of 8.1/10 from over 400 reviews on TrustPilot.

Here are two great 20 Cogs reviews I just grabbed:

So there you have it. 20 Cogs is not a scam. You can use it without fear or concern.

If at any point you’d like to delete your 20 Cogs account, simply head to your ‘account details’ page under the ‘My Account’ menu. There’s a link to delete your account at the bottom.
