Swagbucks Review – How to Make Money & How it Works

Swagbucks is a new addition to my cashback websites post and is probably the most fun, interesting and expansive website around to earn a bit of extra cash online. I’m going to tell you what Swagbucks is, how to use it to make money and whether it’s a legit site to use or not.

What is Swagbucks?

Swagbucks is one of, if not the most fun and exciting reward sites in the UK today.

You earn points (SB, or Swagbucks) for shopping, watching videos, answering questions, taking part in surveys, playing games, searching the web and completing offers (even free).

You can basically earn points just by doing all of the things you are already doing online, so it makes sense to be a Swagbucks member. You can redeem your points for gift cards to spend at Starbucks, Amazon and lots of other shops and even charities. Or get cash via PayPal.

You will get 300 SB (£3) just for signup up with Swagbucks for free!

How to Make Money with Swagbucks

Making money with Swagbucks really couldn’t be easier. Just login to the site and start taking part. There are literally thousands of ways for you to start earning SB to work towards those gift cards and cash payouts. Just like 20 Cogs, Swagbucks is a cashback site with a twist.

For example, I joined Virgin to play their online slots. I had to deposit and wager £10 but in return I got 1,250 SB for completing that one offer alone. Something I’d do anyway.

I did a couple of surveys, too, and redeemed my points for a £10 Amazon gift card.

Here’s how it looks on my Gift Cards page after redeeming:

Shopping offers will reward you X amount of SB per £1 spent. For example, if you book a holiday with Thomas Cook through Swagbucks, you will get 6 SB per £1 spent.

Taking part in online surveys, watching videos, playing games or casino offers, on the other hand, will reward you a set amount of SB for each offer. For example, if you deposit and wager £10 on Heart Bingo you will get 1,250 SB. Or get a free credit report from giffgaff for 150 SB.

Swagbucks Codes

Swagbucks codes are something you should definitely know about.

They’re a bit like coupon codes, except you redeem them in the header on the Swagbucks website and they’re worth a specific amount of SB which will be added to your SB balance. It’s just another fun way to boost your earnings for free, keeping you on your toes.

Swagbucks codes can be found on their social media channels, and the website. The easiest way to find them is to have their extension installed on Chrome or Firefox. Get 50 SB for that, too.

Swagbucks Daily Goals

Another great and easy way to boost your earnings on Swagbucks is to login and complete your daily goal every day. You can find your goals in the header on the Swagbucks website.

Every day you complete your goal you will be given bonus SB, and then every 7 days you keep the streak alive you will get even bigger bonuses. For example, after 7 days you’ll get another 25 SB bonus, after 14 days it’ll be 100 SB, after 21 days 200 SB and 28 days a whopping 300 SB.

So it definitely pays to pay attention to daily goals. Keep your streak alive!

Refer Your Friends to Swagbucks

Another simple way to boost your earnings on Swagbucks is to refer your friends.

Get your friends to sign up and take part in Swagbucks and you will earn 10% of what they earn. Forever. And if they earn 300 SB in their first month, you will too. Pretty sweet deal, right?

Is Swagbucks Legit or a Scam?

Swagbucks is not a scam. It is a totally legit website that you can use to make some extra cash, or to earn gift cards to spend at your favourite shops. It’s as real as it gets.

They’re rated an 8.7/10 with over 2,500 reviews on TrustPilot. That says it all.

Here are 2 Swagbucks reviews I just grabbed to prove it:

So there you have it. Swagbucks is not a scam. No need to worry whilst using it.
