Working in Starbucks & Blog Changes

As you can probably tell by looking at the dates of any of the recent posts on this blog, I haven’t been motivated to work for quite some time.

However, that changed last week when I went to my local Starbucks to do a bit of work with my brother who was here visiting, and since then I have felt really motivated to work. So I’ve been working at Starbucks.

I don’t know what it is, I just love the atmosphere.

It’s quiet and relaxed, and there are people here just grabbing a coffee, and then there are freelancers and business owners having meetings and growing their own things just like I am. It’s pretty cool.

I’m sat here now. I have a Mocha Frappuccino (addicted) and doing some research and planning for some new businesses I’m launching.

I’m an all-or-nothing type of character so I think the trick for me is to force myself to have some balance. That means instead of sitting here the entire day, burning myself out and getting bored, I just come in here for 3 or 4 hours and then go exercise or play pool. Or something.

I know, hard life. I don’t know how I do it.

Blog Changes

I have also decided that I am going to keep this blog as my personal blog and move the family days out and stuff to a new blog.

The new blog is called Pop & Moo and is still a WIP (work in progress) but that’s where I’m going to write about everything family. Days out and adventures with my babies, holidays, family related products.

I think it makes sense to separate them out given that this blog is more about making and saving money, and business.

Oh, and before I go, I have to share a video from YouTube that I can’t stop watching. It’s a song I currently can’t stop listening to. Hazard by Richard Marx. His live acoustic version is brilliant. What a voice the man has!

Here it is:

Oh wait, but that’s not all. If you enjoyed that, you should also give this live performance of Keep Coming Back with Sara Niemietz a watch.

Have a good one, friends!
